I’m a funeral celebrant working across North and West Yorkshire, within about 20 miles of Harrogate. Here’s a little about me, and how I approach working for families.

Working with families

What works I’ve been part of funerals that truly celebrated a life — that brought smiles and laughter as well as tears, and left families with a real sense that they’d honoured their loved one properly. I’ve also sat through funerals where I didn’t recognise the person being described. No one should have that as their goodbye, and no family deserves to walk away feeling it wasn’t quite right.

How We’ll meet and talk, properly, before I write a word. I’ll ask about your loved one’s life, their story, the small things as much as the big ones. You’ll have the final say on everything — every word, every step, every reading and piece of music.

Career:

Before celebrancy, I helped people say what they want to say, and write what they want to write — in everyday life, in education and business — mostly adults — from all walks of life and all over the world.
